Focused

Time goes by hella fast these days. I remember when 2009 just started and now it’s May already and school is over in 3 weeks. I'm finally a senior! I can't wait till I graduate though. Almost 6 years in high school has been tough for me. Dealt with too much things and was put into different unpleasant situations. Life has been good for me so far even though I encounter different obstacles that put me down low, but still I’m standing up with my foot still on the ground. I’m glad to have met new people that brought so many lessons in my life and even the simple little things that are occurring that made me laugh and brought me tears of joy. Although life is confusing at times, I realized that I should take things slower so I can understand the situation more before focusing on negative instincts and intuitions. I talked to my school’s counselor the other day and she explained to me the pros and cons of moving to different school for next year. Talking to her really helped me make my decision. It was a huge help if I say so. I really want to stay at Oceana but I want to graduate as well. She said I can do it, and that I have enough credits to graduate and I don’t have to worry much about anything. She also told me that I need to start getting my butt to school, because attendance is really important. She was also amazed to see my grades that are not failing while looking at my horrible attendance. Therefore, I’m really sure that I’m staying at Oceana for senior year. Oh snap, I need to find another place to volunteer at so I can finish up my community service hours. I need 40 something more and I want it done by September. Hopefully, senior year will be less stressful. Hopefully I’ll graduate and pass all my classes. Oh well, I gotta focus and keep my head in the game. Later cuties.
